About Miquela

Miquela is a strategic leader, keynote speaker  and military Veteran, with a career spanning multiple industries and sectors including defence, construction, professional services and mining. 

A former Navigator in the Royal Australian Navy, she has led multinational teams in complex and high-pressure environments, from active warzones in the Middle East to large-scale infrastructure projects. Miquela's expertise in strategy and  leadership enables her to transform organisations, driving strategic change and fostering genuine collaboration and teamwork. Her work in the private and public sector has seen her lead multi-million-dollar projects, advise government agencies, and shape the future of procurement and digital transformation. Miquela is a passionate advocate for her local communities, and worked tirelessly as a political candidate to improve community outcomes in her local area. 

As Vice President of the Returned and Services League of Western Australia, Miquela is a strong advocate for Veterans, ensuring that all Veterans have the opportunity to thrive.  Recognised for her contributions to defence and business, she has been featured in national exhibitions and leadership forums, sharing her expertise on resilience, high-performance teams, and strategy execution.
